A Nocturnal Telehospitalist is a fully qualified internal medicine physician who specializes in acute care of hospitalized patients and delivers services remotely using interactive live audio and video conferencing tools. Our Nocturnal Telehospitalist program is best suited for hospitals that need nighttime coverage only.
This model is best suited for Rural Hospitals (49 beds) or Critical Access Hospitals with a census of 15-25. We can create a program that provides both day and nighttime coverage, as well as emergency coverages as needed (physician is sick, weather issues, or high census coverage).
Our team of Psychiatrists will be able to assess and deliver care through telecommunications technology, usually videoconferencing. Like other forms of telemedicine, our physicians will be able to care for patients in remote locations.
